Prof. Dr. Agostinho Cruz is a Full Professor at the School of Health, Polytechnic Institute of Porto School of Health. He completed his BSc studies in Pharmacy at the Polytechnic Institute of Porto, School of Health in 1987, MSc studies in Applied Ecology at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto in 1995, and PhD studies in Biomedical Sciences at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar, University of Porto in 2003. He has published over 50 papers and 3 book chapters. His areas of interest include the antiparasitic activity of bioactive compounds and community pharmacy
