Prof. Micheline Draye completed her PhD at the University of Lyon, under the supervision of Prof. M. Lemaire. In 1996, she undertook a one-year post-doctorate term at CNAM Paris with Prof. A. Guy, in addition to a two-year post-doctorate position at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, USA, with Prof. K. Czerwinski. She then worked as an Associate Professor at Chimie ParisTech, before moving to the University of Savoie Mont Blanc, where she was awarded a full professorship position in 2005. Her current research centers upon the development of green chemistry, incorporating the use of ultrasounds for organic synthesis, catalysis and biomass valorization.
