Dr. Clement Adebajo Meseko is an Assistant Director for Infectious and Transboundary Diseases. He obtained DVM degree in 1997 at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and MSc and PhD in Virology from College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, in 2006 and 2014, respectively. He works at the Regional Laboratory for Animal Influenza and Transboundary Diseases of the National Veterinary Research Institute, Vom Nigeria. His core research area is in Influenza virology, ecology, diagnosis, and control, but he has wider interest in infectious diseases and zoonoses. Dr. Meseko is an Alumnus of both Alexander Von Humboldt Fellowship (Germany) and Fulbright Scholar (USA).
