Si-Zu Hou was born in Yuncheng, China, in 1962. He received a B.Sc. degree from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an, China, in 1983, and an M.S. degree from Beijing Jiaotong University,Beijing, China, in 1988. Since 1983, he has been with the North China Electric Power University, where he is currently a professor. His main research interests include fault diagnosis in distribution networks, electrical theory, and new technology.
