Xinyun Zhao, Eng.D., is a Lecturer and current Deputy Director of the Department of Geochemistry at the College of Geoexploration Science and Technology, Jilin University, Changchun, China. His primary research endeavors focus on extraction methods of geochemical anomaly information, determination techniques of soil elemental background values, and ore deposit geochemistry. As a principal investigator or key participant, he has completed multiple provincial and ministerial research grants involving geochemical prospecting data mining, copper–nickel sulfide deposits, and gold deposits. He has published over 20 research papers in peer-reviewed domestic and international journals, including 14 papers indexed by SCI. ORCID: 0000-0002-6558-8357.
