Dr. Zhijun Yang is a professor at the School of Chinese Medicine at Hong Kong Baptist University (SCM, HKBU). He completed his PhD studies in Pharmaceutical Science at the Chiba University in Japan. Before this, Prof. Yang served for 18 years as an assistant professor and an associate professor of the Teaching Division of the SCM, HKBU. In 2000, Prof. Yang carried out his postdoctoral research at the University of British Columbia, Canada. One year later, he served, at Northern Lipids Inc. (21 June 2016 as Evonik acquires Transferra Nanosciences Inc.) in Canada as, a scientist to develop Liposome Formulation. His research interests include non-invasive drug delivery routes, intelligent delivery systems, TCM and biologics delivery, inhaler and nasal spray performance, and biomolecule structure–function relationships.
