Dr. Belal Hanafy obtained his PhD from Nottingham Trent University in 2020 where he worked on the formulation of cerium oxide nanoparticles for the prevention and treatment of cataract. He has an MSc degree in Pharmaceutical Manufacture and Quality Control from Liverpool John Moores University in 2016 where he worked on polymeric inhalable nanoformulations for nonsmall cell lung cancer. His BSc studies in Pharmaceutical Sciences were carried out in Mansoura University in Egypt in 2012. Belal is an interdisciplinary researcher working at the chemistry-biology interface. Belal is also a registered pharmacist in both Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
