Oscar Camacho-Nieto PhD is currently a Research Professor, Titular C, at IPN, and Head of the IPN-CNMN. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Communications and Electronics Engineering (1989) at Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN) Superior School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (ESIME), and an M.Sc. (1995) in Computer Engineering and a Ph.D. (2003) in Computer Sciences, both at IPN Center for Computing Research (CIC). He is the author of three books and more than 80 articles. His areas of interest include Computer Architectures, Associative Memories, Microprocessors, Digital Systems, and Neural Networks. Dr. Camacho-Nieto was granted recognition on several occasions by the IPN, Mexico. He is also a member of the National System of Researchers of the SECIHTI of Mexico (Level II, valid until December 31, 2028). ORCiD 0000-0003-1142-5277.
