Dr. Solakidou Maria is a post Ph.D. researcher at the Department of Physics, University of Ioannina, Greece. She received her Ph.D., relevant to the synthesis of hybrid-nanomaterials for H2 production, at the Department of Chemistry, University of Ioannina, in 2020 and her master's degree at the Department of Materials Science & Engineering, with the title ‘’Chemistry and Technology of Materials’’. She holds two Bachelor degrees in (1) Environmental Engineering (University of Patras, Polytechnical School, Greece, 2013) and (2) Chemistry (University of Ioannina, Department of Chemistry, 2022). She was granted with one fellowship for her master's («IKY FELLOWSHIPS OF EXCELLENCE FOR POSTGRADUATE STUDIES IN GREECE- SIEMENS PROGRAM» ) and with two for her Ph.D ((1) Bodossakis Foundation and (2) ‘’Strengthening Human Resources Research Potential via Doctorate Research” (MIS-5000432), implemented by the State Scholarships Foundation. Currently she is participating as a post-doc in three research programs; (1)‘’ Development of Photocatalytic Engineered-Conduction-Band Nanoheterostructures for Artificial Photosynthesis, CO2 Reduction with H2O Oxidation’’, (2020), ‘’Center for Research, Qualitative Analysis of Cultural Heritage Materials and Science Communication’’ (2023), ‘’ Development of Hybrid NanoScaffolds for Continuous H2 Production by C1-Substrates’, (2025).
