He holds a PhD from the Department of Mechanics and Engineering Science at Peking University. He spent a year as a visiting scholar at the University of California, Berkeley. His research interests include micro/nano power sources and micro/nanofabrication technology. He is a senior member of the Chinese Society of Micro-Nano Technology.
