Dr. Olivier Sheik Amamuddy received his MSc and Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from Rhodes University, South Africa. He is currently pursuing his postdoctoral studies at the Research Unit in Bioinformatics (RUBi), Rhodes University. His research areas of interest include the application of structural bioinformatics methods for the early stages of drug discovery and the training of machine learning models mainly in the context of drug resistance.
