Adolf Tobeña is emeritus professor of psychiatry at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). He researches neurobiology of fearfulness and neuroimagery of mental disorders at the Unit of Medical Psychology, School of Medicine, Bellaterra Campus. He is the author of 18 books and 170 papers published in journals of neuroscience, psychiatry, and psychology. He was a visiting professor at the Institute of Psychiatry (University of London) and at the Universities of Groningen, Tel Aviv, Venice, and Córdoba (Argentina). He has directed radio programs and written columns in media in Barcelona on scientific topics.
