Dayong Wang is a professor at the Medical School, Southeast University, China. He obtained his Ph.D. from Peking University in 2001 and completed his post-doctoral training at the University of Toronto from 2002 to 2004. In 2005, he was selected into the Southeast University Excellent Young Teachers' Teaching and Research Funding Program. In 2007, he was selected into the Ministry of Education’s New Century Excellent Talent Support Program. He has received funding from the National Natural Science Foundation and the National Major Scientific Research Program. His research focuses on toxicology and pathology using Caenorhabditis elegans as a model animal, in which he has published more than 260 research articles. He has published five books centered on the toxicology of Caenorhabditis elegans.
