Dr. Karamatollah Rezaei has got his Ph.D. from the University of Alberta in 1999 and after several years of post-doctoral research experience he was employed at the Department of Food Science as a full-time Assistant Professor in April 2003. Then, he was promoted to Associate Professor in 2007 and then to full professor in 2012 at the University of Tehran. Some of the positions he has held include Education Coordinator (Sept 2003-August 2007), Editorial Board (Nov. 2009-March 2015) and Editor-in-Chief for Iranian Journal of Biosystems Engineering (Sept 2020-present) and Head of Central Laboratory for Basic and Advanced Analytical Instruments (Sept. 2012-Present).
