Dr. Jaume Anguera is an IEEE Fellow and the Founder and CTO of the technology company Ignion. He is an associate professor at Ramon Llull University and the inventor holding over 170 granted patents licensed to telecom companies. He is the inventor of antenna booster technology, which fostered the creation of Ignion. Many antenna booster products have been adopted by the wireless industry worldwide to allow connectivity between IoT devices through miniature multiband/radio and off-the-shelf components that are ten times smaller than conventional antennas. Dr. Anguera is the author of 270+ scientific papers, has spoken at international conferences (h-index 58), and has written 8 books. He has participated in 27+ research projects financed by the Spanish Ministry, Generalitat de Catalunya, and the European Commission (exceeding EUR 11M) and was the principal researcher in most of them. He has given 100+ antenna lectures worldwide. He has 27 years of R&D experience and developed part of his professional experience with Fractus in South Korea in the design of miniature antennas. He has received several national and international awards and directed the theses of 200+ students. His biography appears in Who’s Who in the World and in Science and Engineering. He is the associate editor of the IEEE Open Journal Antennas Prop., Elec. Letters. He is an IEEE Antennas Prop. and the vice chair of the working group “Software and Modeling” at EurAAP. http://users.salleurl.edu/~jaume.anguera/
