Prof. Jie Zhang is the director of the Micro–Nano Engineering Research Center in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Jiangnan University. She received her doctorate in 1995 from University of Illinois at Chicago. She is the vice chairman of the China Flexible Electronics Technology Committee. Her research interests include micro-nano manufacturing engineering technology, multi-dimensional functional micro-nano material systems, flexible large-area distributed optoelectronics and sensor technology, and 3D and additive manufacturing process design and optimization.
