Dr. Li-Fu Li is a professor of pulmonary and critical care medicine at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Keelung branch, Taiwan. He is a member of the Taiwan Society of Internal Medicine, the Taiwan Society of Critical Care Medicine, the Asian Pacific Society of Respirology, and the American Thoracic Society. Dr. Li is a distinguished investigator in the study of Critical Care Medicine, with research focused on the inflammatory cytokines and signaling pathways involved in acute and fibroproliferative phases of acute respiratory distress syndrome, lung fibrosis, and ventilator-induced diaphragm dysfunction. He has also served as an editor of Journal of the Formosan Medical Association and Experimental Biology and Medicine.
