Dr. Xhevat Lumi is a vitreoretinal surgeon. At the Eye Hospital, University Medical Centre Ljubljana, Slovenia he works since year 1994. He performs vitreoretinal surgeries including most complex surgeries of the posterior segment of the eye, as well as complex surgeries and ocular trauma cases on the anterior segment of the eye. In addition, he is also involved in the education of residents and fellows in vitreoretinal surgery. As a senior supervisor, he has educated and trained many specialists during their fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery, who after completion now work in different countries around the world.
