Prof. Dr. Gang Wei received his MS and Ph.D. from the Chinese Academy of Sciences Changchun Yingyong Chemistry Institute. He is currently a full professor at the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Qingdao University, China. From 2007 to 2011, he worked as an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow at the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena, and from 2012 to 2019 he worked as a senior researcher and group leader at the University of Bremen, Germany. His research interests include nanomaterials, two-dimensional materials, biomaterials, supramolecular self-assembly, and biosensors.
