Xiao-Ming Li received Ph.D. degrees in geophysics and marine remote sensing from the University of Hamburg, Hamburg, Germany, and the Ocean University of China, Qingdao, China, in 2010. From June 2006 to January 2010, he was a Research Assistant with the German Aerospace Center (DLR), Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany; afterwards, he continued to work at DLR as a research scientist until January 2014. Since February 2014, he has been a Full Professor with the Institute of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth, now the Aerospace Information Research Institute, Beijing, China. His research interest is spaceborne SAR oceanography.
