Dr. Ricardo Augusto De Melo Reis currently serves at the Laboratory of Neurochemistry, Institute of Biophysics, Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. He received his BSc in biology from Universidade de Brasilia Instituto de Ciências Biológicas in 1988. He obtained his MSc and PhD in neurobiology from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro Instituto de Biofísica Carlos Chagas Filho in 1991 and 1995, respectively. He completed his post-doctorate at the University of Oxford and Universidade de Coimbra in 2004 and 2009, respectively.
