Tünde Kovács is the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the Donát Bánki Faculty of Óbuda University, a university professor, and an International Welding Engineer (IWE). She is a member of the editorial boards of the journals Acta Materialia Transylvania, Safety and Security Sciences Review, and Security Engineering of Anthropogenic Objects. Her research focuses on materials science and technology. His primary research focus is on analysing the effects of specialised welding processes, such as ultrasonic and explosive welding, on the structure and mechanical properties of metals. He is a course coordinator and instructor for the Doctoral Schools of Materials Science and Technology and Safety Science at Óbuda University. He is the author and co-author of numerous scientific publications.
