Biography
He was born in Quito, Ecuador (1969). Biologist, many years dedicated to the administration of science at PUCE. He was Research Director at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, from 2017 to 2024. From 2013, he is the General Director of the Centro de Estudios Aplicados en Química from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador (CESAQ-PUCE). He is an expert on Neotropical ferns and mountain forest ecology, science administration, and heavy metals pollution.
