Biography
Paola Brun earned her PhD in Hepatological Sciences (2005) from the University of Padova and is a qualified Pharmacist. She has served as an Assistant Professor in Microbiology at the Department of Molecular Medicine, University of Padova, since 2010. Her work in the field has resulted in 102 publications, presentations, lectures, and courses, with her research interests including bioactive compounds, nutrition, tissue engineering, innate immunity, and microbiota.
