It is now widely accepted that ontologies play a critical role in achieving the goal of machine understandable web, also known as semantic web. In order to develop ontologies, several methodologies have been proposed during the last two decades. Despite the fact, that quite a number of ontology engineering methodologies have been proposed, still the field lacks widely accepted and mature methodologies. Most methodologies lack sufficient details of techniques and activities employed in them. However, some methodologies provide sufficient details including METHONTOLOGY. This article discusses and reports a critical analysis and comparison of these methodologies. The analysis is performed based on a criterion, derived from related literature, trends and needs which evolved over the years. The results of the analysis showed that there is no completely mature methodology. Therefore, this research may act as a preliminary guide to come with a state of art ontology engineering methodology, bridging up the existing gaps and shortfalls.

Deceptive opinion classification has attracted a lot of research interest due to the rapid growth of social media users. Despite the availability of a vast number of opinion features and classification techniques, review classification still remains a challenging task. In this work we applied stylometric features, i.e. lexical and syntactic, using supervised machine learning classifiers, i.e. Support Vector Machine (SVM) with Sequential Minimal Optimization (SMO) and Naive Bayes, to detect deceptive opinion. Detecting deceptive opinion by a human reader is a difficult task because spammers try to write wise reviews, therefore it causes changes in writing style and verbal usage. Hence, considering the stylometric features help to distinguish the spammer writing style to find deceptive reviews. Experiments on an existing hotel review corpus suggest that using stylometric features is a promising approach for detecting deceptive opinions.

Chatbot for education has great potential to complement human educators and education administrators. For example, it can be around the clock tutor to answer and clarify any questions from students who may have missed class. A chatbot can be implemented either by ruled based or artificial intel-ligence based. However, unlike the ruled-based chatbots, artificial intelli-gence based chatbots can learn and become smarter overtime and is more scalable and has become the popular choice for chatbot researchers recently. Recurrent Neural Network based Sequence-to-sequence (Seq2Seq) model is one of the most commonly researched model to implement artificial intelli-gence chatbot and has shown great progress since its introduction in 2014. However, it is still in infancy and has not been applied widely in educational chatbot development. Introduced originally for neural machine translation, the Seq2Seq model has been adapted for conversation modelling including question-answering chatbots. However, in-depth research and analysis of op-timal settings of the various components of Seq2Seq model for natural an-swer generation problem is very limited. Additionally, there has been no ex-periments and analysis conducted to understand how Seq2Seq model handles variations is questions posed to it to generate correct answers. Our experi-ments add to the empirical evaluations on Seq2Seq literature and provides insights to these questions. Additionally, we provide insights on how a cu-rated dataset can be developed and questions designed to train and test the performance of a Seq2Seq based question-answer model.
