Prof. Dr. Riccardo Caccialanza is the Director of the Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition Unit at the Policlinico San Matteo  and the Contract Professor of the School of Specialisation in Oncology and Digestive System Diseases, University of Pavia, Pavia, Italy. He is also the Consultant of the Ospedale San Raffaele IRCCS,  Milan, Italy and the Secretary of the Survivorship Care and Nutritional Support Working Group of Alliance Against Cancer (ACC); past National Secretary of the Italian Society of Artificial Nutrition and Metabolism (SINPE). He completed his Medicine Degree (M.D.) at the University of Pavia in 2000, where he specialized in Clinical Nutrition in 2004, He is author of more than 160 scientific publications in the field of clinical and artificial nutrition, nutritional assessment, with a particular focus in Oncology.
