I earned a PhD at KAIST in 2008 with the topic of anaerobic digestion of organic solid wastes and worked at Korea Institute of Energy Research until 2014 as a senior researcher. In 2015, I started to work at Inha University as an assistant professor, majoring in environment and energy field, specifically organic waste treatment and resource recovery. I received the “Distinguished Young Scientist Award" (presidential award) in 2015 and am the only member of the Young Academy of Science and Technology in an environmental engineering field.
