Dr. Wang Wei earned a P.h.D in Computer Science and Software Engineering from the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom. He is now the Head of the Department of Intelligent Sciences, serving as an Associate Professor and Level 5 Professional Technician. He is also a Master’s Supervisor for the Electronic Information (Computer Technology) program. Dr. Wang has played a key role in developing space visualization and remote operation systems for various national space exploration missions, including Chang’e 2, Tiangong 1, Shenzhou 8, Shenzhou 9, Shenzhou 10, Chang’e 3, Chang’e 4, and Chang’e 5. He has led or participated in over 26 military, provincial, and ministerial-level projects and technology development projects. Dr. Wang has published over 20 papers indexed in SCI and EI, obtained two national invention patents, and registered seven software copyrights.
