He has worked in Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Jiangsu Ocean and Fishery Bureau, Huaihai Institute of Technology and other units, engaged in plant protection, weed science, and aquatic biological product development and utilization. His main area of focus is currently the research, development and utilization of aquatic plant resources.
In 2009, he was rated as an outstanding scientific and technological worker in Jiangsu Province. In 2018, he enjoyed the special allowance of the State Council.
