Biography
Prof. Dr. María Montes-Bayón is a professor of Analytical Chemistry at the University of Oviedo, Spain. She got her Ph.D. degree in 1999 in Analytical Chemistry at the University of Oviedo. She has co-authored more than 170 original research publications and reviews, as well as several book chapters. In 2013, she received the Bunsen–Kirchhoff Award from the GDCh for her scientific contributions. Her scientific interests are devoted to the analysis of clinical biomarkers related to chemotherapy using metallodrugs.
