Prof. Silvis Lima Costa is an Associate Professor of Biochemistry at the Institute of Health Sciences, Federal University of Bahia Salvador Bahia. She is the Research Director in the Laboratory of Neurochemistry and Cell Biology at the Federal University of Bahia Salvador Bahia. She received a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the Universite de Paris XII in 1996–2000. She received a Master in Science Immunology from the Federal University of Bahia Salvador Bahia in 1993. She completed her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the Federal University of Bahia in Salvador Bahia in 1990. She is a member of the SBBq Brazilian Society for Biochemistry. She is an editorial board serving as a member of reputed journals and a reviewer of five journals.
