Yan Yan received a Ph.D. degree in control theory and control engineering from Lanzhou University of Technology, China. She is currently an associate professor with the School of Computer and Communication, Lanzhou University of Technology. She was an Academic Visiting Scholar at Macquarie University from 2019 to 2020. Her research interests include privacy preserving data publishing, differential privacy, and location-based services. She is a member of the IEEE and China Computer Federation.
