Dr. Marco Caminati was born in 1982 and is a Medical Doctor; he earned his specialization in Allergy and Clinical Immunology in 2012. He currently works as an Assistant Professor at Verona University Department of Medicine, Autoimmune Diseases Unit and at the Asthma Center and Allergy Unit of Verona University Hospital. Most of his scientific production focuses on asthma, particularly severe asthma, biologics, and immunotherapy for immunological and allergic diseases. He is currently a member of the World Allergy Organization (WAO) Adult Asthma Committee and Biologics for Adult Severe Asthma Committee and a member of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) Task Force on Allergic Bronchopulmonary Aspergillosis. He also serves as Senior Advisor and past co-Chair for the WAO Junior Members Steering Group. He has 174 publications with 2467 citations and an h-index of 26 (Scopus, 19 December 2023).
