He is a PhD researcher in cybersecurity at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane, Australia. He was given the opportunity to pursue his PhD through the QUT Tuition Fee Sponsorship and the QUT Postgraduate Research Award Scholarship. In 2018, he was awarded a Master’s degree in cybersecurity by QUT. Currently, he serves as a Sessional Academic at QUT and a lecturer at Asia Pacific International College (APIC) in Brisbane. From 2004 to 2014, he worked overseas as a Sessional Academic and Senior Programmer. He published several articles in high-ranking journals classified in the Q1 quartile. He became a member of IEEE in 2017 and subsequently joined the Australian Information Security Association (AISA), the International Association for Cryptologic Research (IACR), the Australian Mathematical Society (AustMS) in 2021, and QUT Centre for Data Science in 2023.
