Julio Escribano, Ph.D., is professor of genetics at Castilla-La Mancha University Medical School. He received his Ph.D. in 1992 from the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Department of Ophtlamology and Visual Science of Yale University Medical School, USA (1992-1994). His main current research is directed at understanding the molecular and genetic basis of glaucoma.
