Dmitry V. Gunderov, PhD, is the Leading Researcher and Head of the Research Group at the Institute of Molecule and Crystal Physics of the Ufa Research Center, Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS). He is the Leading Researcher, Head of the Research Group for Metastable Nanostructured Materials, Institute of Physics of Advanced Materials, Ufa State Aviation Technical University. His areas of research interest include physical materials science, severe plastic deformation (SPD), structural and phase transformations during SPD processing, processes of amorphization–recrystallization during SPD processing, microstructures and properties of nanostructured materials, NdPr-Fe-B hard-magnetic materials, TiNi shape-memory alloys, nanostructured Ti for medical implants, and SPD amorphous alloys.
