Feng Fang received his B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D., all from Southeast University in 1997, 2000 and 2004, respectively. From 2008 to 2009, he was a visiting scholar at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. He has been working as a professor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Southeast University since 2012. From August to September 2016, he was a visiting professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, The University of Adelaide, Australia. He was awarded the “2018 Young Leading Talents in Science and Technology of Jiangsu Province”. His research interests include (1) Deformation and strengthening mechanisms of metal structure materials, including pearlitic steel, high-speed steel, high entropy alloys, and copper alloys. (2) Super-hard thin films. (3) Photocatalytic thin film and coatings. (4) Finite element modeling of material behaviors.
