Dragana Mitic-Culafic, Principal Research Fellow Department of Microbiology Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade Dragana Mitic-Culafic graduated from the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade. She was awarded a Master of Science title at the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade. Her Ph.D. dissertation was defended in 2000 at the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade. She is a member of the Association of Microbiologists of Serbia, Serbian Biological Society, Genetic Society of Serbia, EEMGS—European Environmental Mutagen and Genomics Society, and FEMS—Federation of European Microbiological Societies. Research interest: basic scientific orientation is the study of natural products as antimicrobial substances and as inhibitors of DNA molecule damage. Within the examination of natural products as antimicrobial substances, special attention is paid to the examination of the antibiofilm effect of natural products, especially against bacteria that cause nosocomial infections. She published 64 papers that have been cited 1308 times (without auto citations), and the h-index is 18.
