Gábor Szatmári holds an MSc (2011) and a PhD (2017) in Environmental Sciences from the University of Szeged, Hungary. He works as a postdoc researcher in the Institute for Soil Sciences, Centre for Agricultural Research. Gábor is interested in pedometrics, digital soil mapping, geostatistics and environmental statistics, machine learning algorithms, model-based sampling optimization, and in quantification, evaluation and communication of uncertainty in spatial modelling.
