Graduated from Novosibirsk State University in 1969 with a degree in physics. Doctor of Chemistry since 1992. High experience in Raman spectroscopy of organic and inorganic compounds. Expert in the vibrational spectroscopy of molecular crystals and strong hydrogen bonding. More than 200 papers and brief reports. Taught courses on semiconductor physics (1972-74) and vibrational spectroscopy (1984-87, 2007-2021) for students of Novosibirsk State University. Author of three monographs on Raman spectroscopy (2009, 2018, and 2020 years).
