Dr. Chenjing Shang is an assistant professor at the College of Life Science and Oceanography at Shenzhen University. She received her Ph.D. in applied biosciences from Ghent University, Belgium. She has published seventeen academic papers and four book chapters. Dr. Shang’s research interests cover the characterization of antimicrobial peptides, microalgae synthetic biology, oceanography, and marine ecology.
