ALAGAPPAN PANDIAN (SMIEEE) received the B.E. Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, in 1999, M.E. Electrical Machines from the P. S. G. College of Technology, Coimbatore, in 2006, and the Ph.D. Electrical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, in 2015. He is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India. He has 23 years of teaching experience across different roles, including department head, research and development, and administrative work. He has published more than 85 articles in reputed international and national journals, such as Sci, Web of Science, and Scopus-indexed journals. He has also presented 20 papers at international conferences, one granted patent, and published 9 patents in IPR. His current research interests include power converters, smart grids, EV technology, AI and Autonomous Vehicles, electrical drives, and optimization. He is a member of the Editorial Board/Reviewer in various journals and transactions like IEEE TRANSACTIONS, Elsevier, Springer, Taylor & Francis, Sage, and many reputed journal publishers.
