Mukambayev Aidyn earned a BS in Seismology (2007) and an MS in Geophysics (2017) from the Kazakhstan National Technical University. He is now the Deputy Director of the Kazakhstan National Data Center. His work in the field of seismological monitoring, including participation in international courses supporting the CTBTO, specialized training in seismology and CTBT compliance monitoring, and the development of earthquake catalogs for assessing seismic hazard in Central Asia, has resulted in over 30 publications, numerous presentations and lectures, and service as the Chair of the Examination Commission at Satpayev University. He has been recognized with Honorary Certificates from the Ministry of the Republic of Kazakhstan. His research interests include earthquake and paleoseismology studies, as well as seismological monitoring.
