Aki Piiroinen M.Sc. project manager at Machine Technology Center Turku Ltd. has over 10 years of experience on different laser applications on industrial applications. He is also PhD student at University of Turku, Finland. His research concentrates interests focus on laser welding, welding metallurgy and process monitoring. Presently he is researching solutions for laser welding copper and aluminium electrical connections and producing metal AM components on different electrical applications.
