Biography
Alexandra Nowak is an Assistant Professor at Loyola University Chicago Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing. She earned her Ph.D. from The Ohio State University College of Nursing and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Columbia University School of Nursing. Dr. Nowak is a member of several professional societies, including the American Academy of Nursing, the Society for Reproductive Investigation (SRI), the Midwest Nursing Research Society (MNRS), the International Society of Nurses in Genetics (ISONG), etc. Her research interest is in biopsychosocial determinants of perinatal maternal health in Black pregnant people.
