Obtained first degree in Surveying and Mapping from NELP, London, UK. Then MSc in GIS from ITC, Netherlands, and PhD in 3D GIS from University of Glasgow, Scotland, UK in year 2000. Involved in several international professional societies like ISPRS, FIG, UDMS, UN-GGIM. Recently joined FIG Working Group on LADM and 3D LA of Commission 7 from 2022 to 2026. Publication focuses on 3D GIS and LADM. He works at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) from 1984 till today at the Department of Geoinformation and Head of 3D GIS Research Lab.
