Alonso Chica Leal received the B.S. degree in electronics engineering from the Autonomous of Colombia University, Bogotá, Colombia in 2000 and the M.S. degree in Electronics Engineering and Computers from Los Andes University, Bogotá, Colombia in 2008. In 2009, he joined the Electronics Engineering Department, Central University Bogota, Colombia, where he is currently a Full Professor and the Director of Electronics Department of the Basic Sciences and Engineering Faculty. He is pursuing the Ph.D in Engineering. His current research interests include modeling and control of nonlinear and hybrid systems with applications to power electronics systems, industrial conmunications and networking.
