Prof. Dr. Ahmed Majeed Al-Shammari

I am a Professor of Pathology at experimental therapy department, Iraqi center for cancer and medical genetic research, Mustansiriyah University. I have three main research lines and programs: 1- Cancer virotherapy, which is about using oncolytic viruses to treat cancer as Newcastle disease virus and Measles 2- Creating tumor models as new Iraqi cancer cell lines from Iraqi patients to study the uniqueness of the tumors in Iraq and to use them in the experimental therapies to develop new treatments 3- Stem cell and tissue engineering
