I am Assistance Professor at the USACH (since August 2020). In my laboratory we study the extracellular matrix and the role in synaptic plasticity. Also, we are interested in understand the interneuron´s modulation on the memory formation during aging. We used the chemogenetic approach to modulated the neurons activity to improve learning and memory in aged animals.
