Her research experience deals with the genetic analysis of inherited clotting disorders, mainly focusing on Hemophilia, von Willebrand disease and Thrombophilia. Her scientific productivity includes 29 international scientific publications with 488 citations, and three book chapters. She is member of the Mexican Group for Hematology Study (AMEH) and of the Cooperative Latin American Group of Hemostasis and Thrombosis (CLAHT). She is medical adviser for the national organization of hemophilia patients’ society in Mexico and has been recognized as a National Researcher since 1999, with her current distinction as SNI level 2.
